About PromoDriver

PromoDriver was established in March of 2006 as the retail Marketing Division of Optical Products Development Corp., (OPD) located in Elmira New York, for the purpose of deploying a Networked based Interactive Kiosk Platform into the Grocery Industry. The mission of the Kiosk System is to display Video and 3D Advertising Content plus dispense product manufacturer discount Coupons.

OPD was founded in 1996 as a designer, developer and manufacturer of OEM 3D Optical Devices and OEM Precision Optics. OPD's early success came in the Flight Simulation Industry for the production of optics for Toshiba's Search & Rescue Helicopter Simulator and for the A-10 Warthog Simulator.

In 1997, OPD concentrated on and developed the “Floating Image” 3D Display Technology and has produced and sold over 52,000 systems to date. In 2002 OPD developed the 3D Interactive Coupon Kiosk. Once refined, OPD filed for patent coverage on the couponing systems. OPD currently has five issued patents and 33 pending patents, with the latest couponing patent publishing in April 2006. OPD participated in the deployment of a 15 kiosk pilot for couponing in 2005 in the Reeser's and Crest Supermarkets, and has now launched the product for deployment in 2006 under the banner of PromoDriver. The pilot was extremely successful, experiencing a phenomenal 35% redemption rate for Coupons printed.

Through its experience and reputation in 3D systems, OPD has developed the ability to engineer, manufacture and remotely manage Self-Service-Platforms” (Kiosks), incorporating a host of electronic transactional devices. Consequently, the Company has become a “total solution provider” from initial concept through full system deployment and remote content management.
